Join us for Level II Bellydance, where dancers continue building confidence and artistry while deepening their technical and musical skills. This class expands on foundational training with layered movements, longer combinations, and more detailed choreography in a supportive and motivating environment.
Placement into Level II requires a skills assessment, including knowledge of movement vocabulary and finger cymbals, to ensure students are prepared for the pace and expectations of this level.
Each month, dancers explore movement families in greater depth, learning how to connect technique with expression and performance quality.
Technique & Precision
Refine posture, alignment, and control while strengthening the clarity of isolations and transitions. Emphasis is placed on clean execution and consistency in movement.
Layering & Coordination
Develop the ability to combine movements smoothly—adding layers such as arms, traveling steps, and rhythmic accents to create richer, more dynamic dancing.
Choreography & Flow
Work with longer choreographed sequences that build stamina, memory, and confidence while learning how to maintain flow and musical connection.
Musicality & Interpretation
Explore phrasing, accents, and emotional tone in music, helping dancers express the character of each piece more fully.
Community & Growth
